Job Summary:
The Sales Representative serves as the primary point of contact for clients visiting our retail shop. This role combines sales and customer service responsibilities, requiring the ability to present products, process transactions, and provide post-sale support. The ideal candidate will help clients understand the value of our solar energy solutions while ensuring an exceptional in-store experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome walk-in customers, assess their energy needs, and provide personalized solutions.
Present and explain product features, including solar panels and lithium batteries.
Educate clients on proper product usage, benefits, and long-term value.
Prepare and issue accurate quotations, invoices, and receipts.
Process and document sales transactions efficiently.
Maintain product displays and ensure the store environment is clean and welcoming.
Provide basic after-sales support and follow up with clients as needed.
Record and track client inquiries, complaints, and feedback to support service improvement.
Collaborate closely with the storekeeper to monitor stock levels and product availability.
Qualifications & Requirements:
SSCE/ND/HND/BSc in a related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in sales or customer service.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and persuasive skills.
Basic understanding of solar energy products, or willingness to learn quickly.
Proficient in using POS systems or sales software; basic use of digital tools.
Customer-focused, proactive, and detail-oriented.
