Process Improvement focuses on using continuous improvement methods to study, document, and improve business processes. This leads to simpler, more efficient, and standardized workflows across the organization. The role involves working closely with managers, staff, and faculty to create various deliverables such as reasons for change, understanding and measuring the current state, vision for the future, process standardization, options for restructuring, and redesigning business processes. These processes will affect multiple departments and impact staff, faculty, and students.

Continuous Improvement aims to help Sask Polytech’s management, staff, and faculty to carry out their own improvement projects. This includes developing and promoting resources and offering skill development workshops.
