DSV Global Transport and Logistics is looking for Delivery Drivers with Code 14 and Code 10 driver’s licenses.
The role of a Delivery Driver is to drive a truck safely, check it before use to ensure it is in good condition, deliver goods on time and in the correct amount, and communicate well with customers. Delivery drivers must also follow safety rules, provide excellent service, and help ensure goods are transported efficiently.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Record Keeping: You must keep detailed records every day, including information like:
- The number of miles you drive
- The amount of fuel you use
- Delivery receipts
- Any accidents or problems that happen while working
These records should follow company rules and legal requirements.
- Customer Communication: It’s important to speak to customers, warehouse workers, and others in a friendly and professional way. You should help answer any questions they have about the delivery or the process.
- Report Truck Problems: If there are any mechanical problems or if the truck needs maintenance, you must report it quickly. Follow company procedures to make sure the truck gets fixed properly.
- Follow Company Rules: You need to follow all the company’s policies about safety, how to operate the vehicle, and the code of conduct.
- Follow the Law: It’s important to follow traffic rules and any other regulations that apply to your job.
- Truck Maintenance: You should keep the truck clean and well-organized to ensure safety and efficiency.
