Finance Manager

Job Summary:

The Finance Manager is responsible for managing the financial health of the organization by overseeing financial planning, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. This role involves developing and implementing financial strategies, analyzing financial data, and providing insights and recommendations to senior management to drive financial performance and decision-making.

Responsibilities:

– Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop financial strategies aligned with company goals, conduct analysis and forecasting, and monitor performance for improvement.
– Budgeting and Forecasting: Oversee the annual budgeting process, create financial forecasts, and analyze budget variances with corrective recommendations.
– Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and compliant financial statements, ensure reports support decision-making, and present insights to senior management.
– Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow for liquidity, optimize cash management strategies, and oversee accounts payable and receivable.
– Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure legal and regulatory compliance, maintain internal controls, and manage financial risks with mitigation strategies.
– Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor finance professionals, conduct performance evaluations, and promote a collaborative work environment.
– Strategic Initiatives: Contribute to strategic planning with financial insights, support mergers and acquisitions through due diligence, and drive process improvements.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or CPA preferred).
– Proven experience as a Finance Manager, Financial Analyst, or similar role.
– Strong knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
– Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office Suite.
