We are seeking a proactive Financial Specialist, who will be reporting directly to the CFO. Together with the Finance team, you will have a key role in the record-to-report flow, the monthly and quarterly closing, involved in accounting topics and overseeing the statutory year-end audit.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Management & Reporting:
- Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring compliance with Vietnamese and international accounting standards (IFRS, VAS, etc.)
- Oversee cash flow management, financial planning, and risk management to optimize business performance
- Develop, monitor, and update budgets and financial forecasts, providing variance analysis and financial insights to senior management
Internal Controls & Compliance:
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls to safeguard company assets and ensure data integrity
- Ensure compliance with Vietnamese tax laws, accounting regulations, and international financial standards
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with senior management, department heads, and external advisors to align financial strategy with business goals
- Liaise with international finance teams to harmonize financial processes across different regions
- Provide financial guidance to operational teams to optimize cost efficiency and revenue growth
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Must-Have:
- Fluent in English and Vietnamese both written and spoken
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial management, accounting, and reporting
- At least 2 years of experience in international businesses
- Strong knowledge of Vietnamese tax regulations, payroll management, and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in financial software (Xero, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Preferred:
- Experience in the tech industry (startups, SaaS, fintech, or e-commerce companies preferred)
- Experience with M&A processing is an advantage
