  • Quality Control: You will check products to make sure they meet quality standards. This means looking for any mistakes or issues.
  • Teamwork: You will work with other people to meet goals. Teamwork is important to finish tasks on time.
  • Safety Procedures: Following safety rules is very important. You must be aware of how to work safely to prevent accidents.
  • Other Duties: You may be asked to do other tasks by your supervisors, depending on what is needed.

Drivers at Transnet

Role Overview: Drivers are responsible for transporting materials and products safely and efficiently. Main Tasks:

  • Transporting Goods: You will drive to deliver materials, products, and equipment to different locations.
  • Operating Vehicles: It is important to drive company vehicles safely and follow all driving rules.
  • Following Routes: You will need to know the best routes to take for deliveries. Following transportation rules is essential.
  • Loading and Unloading: You will load materials onto the vehicle and unload them at the destination. This requires physical strength and attention.
  • Basic Vehicle Maintenance: You will perform simple checks and maintenance on the vehicle to ensure it is in good condition. This includes checking oil levels and tire pressure.
  • Warehouse Assistance: Sometimes, you may need to help in the warehouse with organizing or moving items.
  • Flexible Hours: Be prepared to work different hours, including nights and weekends, as needed.
