MiracleFeet
The Program Field Officer (PFO) will help set up, grow, and manage programs to provide fair and timely treatment for children with clubfoot in Bangladesh. The PFO will work closely with the South Asia team at MiracleFeet, helping partners and reviewing treatment programs to ensure they meet high standards. Reporting to the Program Manager for South Asia, the PFO will be a key contact for program coordination in Bangladesh.
Main Responsibilities
- Program Development and Support
- Help MiracleFeet expand in Bangladesh by planning, developing, and tracking program activities.
- Build and support partnerships with local organizations and help grow MiracleFeet’s network.
- Support partners in their work to build strong and sustainable programs.
- Make sure clubfoot programs follow MiracleFeet’s core values and goals.
- Partner Support and Quality Improvement
- Work with local partners to create and manage budgets and work plans for sustainable program growth.
- Help partners improve treatment, outreach, and referral processes.
- Integrate clubfoot treatment into the national health system in Bangladesh, focusing on improving access to services and training healthcare workers.
- Use data tools to support partners in making informed program decisions.
- Knowledge Sharing and Advocacy
- Collaborate with the MiracleFeet team to promote best practices in clubfoot care.
- Stay informed on public health trends and needs related to clubfoot treatment in Bangladesh.
- Work with partners on advocacy and outreach projects to raise awareness of clubfoot treatment.
- General Program Support
- Participate in cross-program projects, such as creating presentations for conferences and supporting fundraising efforts.
- Support the implementation of new MiracleFeet projects that meet local health guidelines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in public health or related field.
- Minimum of five years in program management, ideally in public or child health.
- Experience with government programs and building partnerships.
- Proficiency in English and Bengali.
- Familiarity with Bangladesh’s public health system is a plus.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
