We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Hotel Receptionist/Waiter/Waitress to join our dynamic team at Hotel Okura Manila. This versatile role will involve providing exceptional service both at the front desk and in the hotel’s dining areas. You’ll be the first point of contact for guests checking in, as well as providing friendly and attentive service in the restaurant or bar. The ideal candidate is someone with a passion for hospitality, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and ensure check-in/check-out procedures are completed smoothly.
Handle reservations, process payments, and manage guest inquiries both in person and over the phone.
Maintain guest records and update information accurately in the hotel’s system.
Provide guests with relevant information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services.
Resolve guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally, escalating to management when necessary.
Maintain a clean, organized reception area, ensuring all guests receive a welcoming first impression.
As a Waiter/Waitress:
Provide excellent food and beverage service in the hotel’s dining room, restaurant, or bar.
Take customer orders and relay them accurately to the kitchen and/or bar.
Ensure food and drinks are delivered in a timely and professional manner.
Answer any questions regarding the menu, make recommendations, and cater to guest dietary needs.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including clearing tables and resetting for new guests.
Process payments and handle cash, credit cards, or other forms of payment accurately.
Requirements:
Experience: Prior experience in a hospitality or customer service role (hotel, restaurant, or similar) is preferred, but not required.
Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficient in using computer systems, booking software, or POS systems.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to customer service.
Personality:
A friendly, approachable demeanour with a passion for helping others.
Ability to work well under pressure and manage guest expectations.
