We Are Hiring! – JavaScript + Cybersecurity Engineer

We’re looking for a skilled JavaScript + Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will help keep our systems safe and secure from attacks. Your work will make sure our websites and applications run smoothly and are protected against hackers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Secure Full-Stack JavaScript Applications: You will help protect both the front end (what users see) and the back end (servers and databases) of our websites.
• Prevent Attacks: You will stop common types of attacks like:
  • XSS (Cross-Site Scripting): Prevents attackers from injecting malicious scripts into websites.
  • CSRF (Cross-Site Request Forgery): Protects against attackers making unauthorized actions on behalf of a user.
  • SQL Injection: Prevents attacks where hackers try to manipulate databases using harmful code.
• Fortify APIs & Servers: You will make sure that the APIs (tools that allow different parts of software to talk to each other) and servers are protected from security breaches.
• Use AI for Security & Intrusion Prevention: You will use artificial intelligence tools to improve our ability to prevent cyber attacks and detect intrusions.
• Ensure Compliance: You will make sure that our work follows important rules and guidelines for security, including:
  • OWASP (Open Web Application Security Project)
  • GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
  • ISO 27001 (Information security management)

Job Details:

• Location: Remote (You can work from anywhere!)
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Duration: 3 months (with possible extension)
• Time Zone Requirement: You will need to work 5 hours overlapping with the PST (Pacific Standard Time) time zone.
