Manager, Maintenance Staff Need

We are in need of a highly proficient Maintenance Manager to supervise our organization’s maintenance operations.

Responsibilities include developing and implementing maintenance procedures, policies, and schedules to ensure optimal performance of facilities, equipment, and systems. The role involves coordinating and prioritizing maintenance activities, including routine inspections, repairs, and upgrades.

The Maintenance Manager will also be required to be hands-on in maintenance and engineering tasks as needed to meet business requirements. This includes coordinating service and planned maintenance of all machinery on site to ensure employee safety and maximize efficiencies. Additionally, they will organize and supervise all Engineering personnel to maintain agreed standard servicing levels and cover breakdowns within agreed timescales, thus minimizing downtime.

Ensuring compliance with internal and customer audits, completing necessary paperwork and reports, and maintaining inventory of spare parts, equipment, and supplies are also key aspects of the role. Safety regulations must be monitored and adhered to, maintaining a safe working environment for maintenance staff and compliance with all applicable standards.

Managing maintenance budgets, tracking expenses, and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety is crucial. Evaluating equipment performance and recommending upgrades or replacements as necessary to improve efficiency and reliability is also part of the responsibilities.

Accurate record-keeping of maintenance activities, staying updated on industry trends and best practices, and ensuring continuous improvement in maintenance management are essential.

This position is full-time and based in Dhaka (Savar EPZ). Only male candidates are being considered.
