Job Description: Radiologic Technologist
As a Radiologic Technologist at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center under general supervision, you will operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or portable radiology equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to obtain routine radiographic images of specified body parts as directed by physicians. This role involves positioning patients correctly and adjusting x-ray equipment settings for each examination.
Responsibilities:
- Perform radiographic procedures according to physician specifications.
- Assist physicians during examinations, including preparing and administering contrast media and assisting in sterile procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to department protocols.

Required Qualifications:
- California Radiologic Technologist license (upon hire)
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (upon hire)
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association (upon hire)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Participation in continuing education programs
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 22 pounds
- Work in various environments, including potentially cold conditions (e.g., refrigerated sections)
