Job Title: Special Events Coordinator
Location: Remote (you can work from anywhere)
About the Company: The T.J. Martell Foundation is a leading nonprofit in the music industry. We raise money for important medical research to find cures for cancer. Since 1975, we’ve raised over $280 million for research grants across the United States.
About the Role: We need someone enthusiastic and skilled to join us as a Special Events Coordinator. You’ll help plan events, schedule meetings, manage data, and create reports that support our mission. This role is a chance to use your coordination skills for a meaningful cause. You’ll report to the Special Events Manager and work closely with other key team members.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Managing Donor Data:
- Keep donor contact info and related details updated in our systems.
- Assist in collecting donor data during events.
- Maintain and update our donor database.
- Event Planning and Execution:
- Help plan and organize special events like fundraisers, galas, and auctions.
- Assist with material preparation and logistics for events.
- Event Evaluation and Analytics:
- Analyze event success based on attendance, funds raised, and donor engagement.
- Use feedback to improve future events.
- Budget Management:
- Help manage event budgets to meet fundraising goals.
- Marketing and Communications:
- Create event materials like invitations, programs, and promotional items.
Ideal Candidate:
- Passionate about nonprofit work and our mission.
- Has an Associate’s degree and 1-3 years of operations experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work both independently and in a team.
- Comfortable attending meetings and events outside regular office hours.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Salary Range: $35,000 to $60,000, depending on location and experience level.
