Summary:
Hays Specialist Recruitment is working with a well-established, nationally recognized organization based in Fife to find a motivated, part-qualified finance professional for a newly created Assistant Accountant role. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone looking to advance their finance career.
Your New Role:
As an Assistant Accountant, you will work closely with the Management Accountant to support daily finance processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing and producing financial reports.
- Providing commentary on account analysis.
- Assisting in the preparation of management accounts.
- Supporting the wider finance team with transactional finance processes as needed.
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
To be successful in this role, you should:
- Be actively seeking to progress your finance career within management accounting.
- Have experience managing internal and external stakeholder queries.
- Possess a solid background in a varied finance role.
- Demonstrate an analytical mindset and the ability to work under pressure.
- Be willing to support others within the finance function.
