Summary:

Hays Specialist Recruitment is working with a well-established, nationally recognized organization based in Fife to find a motivated, part-qualified finance professional for a newly created Assistant Accountant role. This position offers an exciting opportunity for someone looking to advance their finance career.

Your New Role:

As an Assistant Accountant, you will work closely with the Management Accountant to support daily finance processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing and producing financial reports.
  • Providing commentary on account analysis.
  • Assisting in the preparation of management accounts.
  • Supporting the wider finance team with transactional finance processes as needed.

  • Have experience managing internal and external stakeholder queries.
  • Possess a solid background in a varied finance role.
  • Demonstrate an analytical mindset and the ability to work under pressure.
