Summary:

Care South is seeking a dedicated Night Care Assistant to join the team at Fairlawn, a purpose-built residential and dementia care home in Ferndown, Dorset. This role offers a competitive pay rate, flexible working hours, and various employee benefits.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Person-Centred Care: Identify and meet the needs and abilities of residents, delivering excellent care tailored to each individual.
  • Support Independence: Encourage and support residents in maintaining their independence.
  • Routine Checks: Regularly check on residents, assisting with moving, positioning, and personal care when needed.
  • Companionship: Build relationships with residents, providing companionship and emotional support.
  • Team Collaboration: Work as part of a team to create a friendly, welcoming atmosphere in the home.

  • Compassionate Individuals: A genuine desire to positively impact residents’ lives with a compassionate and understanding approach.
  • No Previous Care Experience Required: While previous care experience is not essential, a caring attitude and willingness to learn are crucial. Training and support will be provided.
  • Minimum Age: Must be over 18 years of age.
