Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets across assigned Dairy, Bakery, Processed Meat, and Non-Food ingredient segments.

· Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities while addressing the specific technical and needs of each segment.

· Manage, retain, and expand relationships with key accounts, distributors, and strategic partners.

· Conduct ongoing market research to monitor industry trends, customer demands, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities across all segments.

· Collaborate closely with supply chain, sales admin, and technical to ensure product availability, competitive pricing, and aligned promotional strategies.

· Prepare accurate sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for senior management review.

· Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows relevant to assigned segments.

· Ensure compliance with applicable industry regulations, quality standards, and internal company policies.

· Monitor order fulfillment, delivery performance, and accounts receivable (AR) collections to ensure timely payments and customer satisfaction.

· Perform other tasks as assigned across the four different segments, including support for product development initiatives, participation in cross-functional projects, assistance with contract negotiations, and training or mentoring of junior sales team members.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, or a related field.

· MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification is an advantage.

· Minimum 5–7 years of sales experience, preferably within raw materials, ingredients, or related industrial sectors.

· Demonstrated experience in Dairy, Bakery, Processed Meat, and/or Non-Food ingredient markets is highly desirable.

· Proven ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.

· Experience managing key accounts and negotiating agreements and contracts.

· Strong technical knowledge of raw materials and ingredients across assigned segments.

· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

· Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Ability to work independently while effectively leading and influencing a sales team.
