We are looking for a WordPress/WooCommerce developer to join our team for a project focused on improving and automating the process of adding and managing products in WooCommerce.
The goal of the project is to develop a reliable and user-friendly solution (plugin or custom extension) that simplifies product creation, supports bulk product addition, and improves product data management within the WordPress admin panel.
Responsibilities
- Develop a custom WooCommerce plugin or extension for product creation and management.
- Implement functionality for adding simple and variable products, including prices, SKUs, attributes, categories, tags, and images.
- Create tools for bulk product addition (CSV/Excel import or API-based solutions).
- Ensure data validation, error handling, and performance optimization.
- Use WooCommerce hooks, filters, and best practices.
- Maintain compatibility with the latest versions of WordPress and WooCommerce.
- Provide clear documentation for usage and installation.
Requirements
- Strong experience with WordPress and WooCommerce development.
- Proficiency in PHP and understanding of WordPress coding standards.
- Experience working with WooCommerce product data structures.
- Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for admin-side interfaces.
- Experience with REST API integration is an advantage.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Good written communication skills in English.
Nice to Have
- Experience with large product catalogs.
- Previous work on WooCommerce automation or import systems.
