Role Overview: WhatsApp is seeking an experienced Brand Marketing Manager to lead marketing efforts across key markets. This role is crucial for creating effective marketing campaigns that boost consumer awareness and engagement, aligned with WhatsApp’s goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute marketing and brand strategies for key markets.
  • Create global marketing campaigns to drive results at every stage.
  • Work with teams like Product Marketing, Consumer Insights, Media Agencies, and others to deliver integrated campaigns.
  • Report on marketing initiatives to find the best ways to increase awareness and usage.
  • Be ready to handle both strategic planning and hands-on execution.
  • Be a key player in the WhatsApp leadership team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in brand marketing for global consumer brands, especially in tech or consumer goods.
  • Strong understanding of consumer behavior and experience using research to shape marketing strategies.
  • Experience with large-scale campaigns and working with media and creative agencies.
  • Proven track record of managing multiple campaigns and coordinating with various teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of WhatsApp as a brand and product.
  • Experience with both new and established products.
  • Global experience across various markets.
  • A BA/BS degree in marketing, business, or a related field.

Compensation: The base salary for this role ranges from $122,000 to $176,000 per year, plus bonuses, equity, and benefits. Your final compensation will depend on your skills, experience, and location. Additional details about benefits are available upon request.
