Role Overview

As a Senior Data Analyst, you’ll work with complex criminal justice data to drive changes in incarceration systems. You’ll:

  • Analyze diverse data sets from across the country.
  • Communicate findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement impactful solutions and ensure effective product launches.
  • Travel approximately once a quarter, occasionally required.

Core Responsibilities

  • Data Exploration: Analyze datasets to gain insights into criminal justice systems.
  • Communication: Present key findings to stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work with various teams to execute targeted roadmaps and integrate data into software.
  • Product Analysis: Monitor trends and assess the impact of our products.

Success Metrics

  • Impact: Your work will contribute to the launch of impactful products and improve justice system outcomes.
  • Team Development: Enhance our analytical tools and support team growth.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+ years in data analysis and processing complex datasets.
  • Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, and technical abilities.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced SQL and Python (Pandas) skills.
  • Project Management: Experience in leading projects or teams.
  • Work Hours: Ability to work from 6:00am – 2:30pm, including overtime and weekends if needed.
  • Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Sector Experience: Familiarity with public sector datasets, particularly in criminal justice.
  • Technical Tools: Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Looker, and Jupyter notebooks.

  • Compensation: $120,000 base salary.
