JOB TITLE: INSTALLATIONS SUPERVISOR
JOB OBJECTIVE
The position entails either installing or servicing and repairing a wide range of doors, as well as being able to manage
and guide and quality control installation teams on a daily basis.
TASK DESCRIPTION
Supervising and managing teams of installation technicians during installations of roller shutter doors
Responsibility for the for reporting of and administrative tasks during and post installation.
Preparations of and for onsite work and site evaluations
Liaise with Installation technicians and customers during installation
Perform and undertake service evaluations and services between projects.
Assist and supervise service activities performed by third party contractors or colleagues
Set goals for performance and deadlines in ways that comply with company’s plans and vision and communicate them to
Subordinates
Organize workflow and ensure that employees understand their duties or delegated tasks
Monitor installers productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
Be available for emergency Call-outs
Be available and knowledgeable on and for product-use demonstrations to clients
Be able to receive complaints and have abilities to resolve problems on-site where required
Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa
Prepare and submit performance reports on installers to HR
Train new installers and refresh current installers knowledge and submit to HR on a monthly basis
Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises
Ensure that all the installers have the necessary tools and certifications to be able to properly do their jobs
JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Have knowledge of Roller Shutter Doors or be from a similar mechanical environment
Must be able to train/refresh installers on a monthly basis and submit the training to HR

QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with MS Office programs.
Must have excellent verbal communication and writing skills
Must possess high organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and establish effective work priorities in a fast paced, high
pressure environment.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Driver’s License
Reliable Transport
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment/roller shutter door firm
Minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or lead role.
Experience around high-level manufacturing equipment.
Equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the key
responsibilities of this position.
