Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Scrum Master to guide and coach Agile teams across CAE’s digital product portfolio. You will be the servant-leader responsible for fostering Agile maturity, removing impediments, enabling team success, and helping drive enterprise agility at scale. This role is pivotal in helping CAE deliver high-quality digital solutions on time and with lasting value.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
Coach teams in Agile best practices, Lean principles, and servant leadership to elevate team performance and Agile maturity.
Remove blockers and navigate dependencies between cross-functional teams and departments.
Work closely with Product Owners to ensure backlogs are refined, prioritized, and aligned to strategic goals.
Track and report Agile metrics (velocity, burn-down charts, cycle time) to support continuous improvement.
Shield teams from external interruptions and foster a safe, focused environment.
Promote collaboration, communication, and transparency within teams and across the organization.
Support enterprise Agile transformation by contributing to communities of practice and Agile process improvements.
Qualifications
7+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, with at least 3 years supporting multiple Agile teams or enterprise initiatives.
Strong expertise in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and Lean.
Experience working in large, complex digital environments with multiple stakeholder groups.
Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret Agile metrics and drive actionable insights.
Excellent facilitation, coaching, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a remote, cross-functional, and multicultural environment.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Computer Science, Business); Agile certifications (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master) are strongly preferred.
