Job description
Requirements

BSC or HND in Accounting.
Professional qualification e.g ACA or equivalent as an added advantage.
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience, preferably in an HMO or health insurance environment.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities

Prepare and present timely and accurate financial statements and management reports.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements specific to the HMO industry.
Manage audits and liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies (NHIA, LIRS, FIRS e.t.c.).
Provide financial insights to support strategic business decisions.
Monitor and manage cash flow, investment, and risk management activities.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and financial regulations e.t.c.
