Job Overview:
A & S Signs and Events is looking for a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our team in Zebbug, Malta. In this role, you will assist in various manual tasks related to the production, installation, and maintenance of signs and event setups. The ideal candidate will be physically fit, proactive, and willing to take on diverse tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, installation, and removal of signs and event-related structures.
- Perform manual labor tasks, such as lifting, carrying, and assembling materials.
- Operate and maintain basic tools and equipment related to signage and event setups.
- Help in the preparation and transportation of materials to event locations.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work site.
- Follow safety procedures and company guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Support the team in various tasks as needed, including painting, sanding, and assembling signs.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Participate in loading and unloading materials and equipment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive or manual role is an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in construction, signage, or event setups is a plus.
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Maltese is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays, depending on project needs.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the company.
