Responsibilities:
Hotel Booking App Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust Java-based applications tailored for hotel booking platforms.
Backend Development: Build and optimize server-side components to handle high-volume data transactions efficiently.
API Integration: Develop and integrate APIs for third-party services, including payment gateways, hotel management systems, and travel platforms.
Database Management: Design and manage databases to ensure data integrity and optimal performance for hotel listings, bookings, and user profiles.
Code Review and Debugging: Conduct thorough code reviews, debug complex issues, and optimize application performance.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers, front-end developers, and project managers, to deliver top-notch app solutions.
Testing and Deployment: Perform rigorous testing to ensure application functionality, security, and scalability before deployment.
Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest trends and advancements in Java development, travel technology, and the hospitality sector.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience (X+ years) in Java development, preferably in hotel booking app development or related industries.
Proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate.
Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
Familiarity with front-end technologies like Angular, React, or Vue.js is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to write clean, maintainable code.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and version control tools like Git.

Preferred Skills:
Experience in developing hotel or travel booking platforms.
Knowledge of integration with property management systems (PMS) or global distribution systems (GDS).
Understanding of payment gateway integration for secure and seamless transactions.
Experience with containerization tools like Docker or orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
