Job Title: Operations Assistant

Reports to: Operations Executive
Department Charter:
The Operations Department is crucial in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the company by supporting business plans and fulfilling the company’s mission. This includes collaborating closely with other departments to provide logistical and process support to meet targets. The department is also responsible for implementing and managing strict inventory controls, ensuring products are readily available for sale and efficiently shipped to customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Assist with day-to-day inventory management and reporting functions.
- Inventory Handling: Help manage the receipt and issuance of inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and movement.
- Stock Preparation: Assist in preparing stock for sale, including assembling product kits as required.
- Administrative Support: Assist with administrative duties such as conducting cycle counts and participating in stock-takes.
- Shipment Processing: Assist with processing incoming inventory shipments and ensuring timely delivery.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Inventory Transfers: Prepare and arrange inventory transfers between company locations as needed.
- Productivity Improvement: Explore and recommend ways to improve productivity and operational efficiency in the warehouse.
- Ad Hoc Duties: Assist with any other duties as assigned by the Operations Executive.
Job Qualification Requirements:
- Education: Secondary school education or relevant certification.
- Warehouse Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or similar operational environment preferred.
- Forklift License: A forklift license is an advantage but not required.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to work long hours on your feet and lift heavy objects (up to specified weight).
- Warehouse Tools & Equipment: Familiarity with common warehouse tools and equipment.
- Attention to Detail: Thorough, alert, and detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy.
- Time Management: Good organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
- Independence: Comfortable working independently and proactively managing tasks.
- Safety-Conscious: Makes safety a priority in all aspects of work.
- Teamwork: Excellent team player with a collaborative and supportive attitude.
- Customer-Facing Skills: Pleasant disposition and enjoys interacting with people, especially in a team environment.
