Job Description:

We are looking for a Coordinator/Chinese Language Expert with proficiency in English and Chinese (Mandarin). Join our team where you’ll handle verbal translations during meetings and coordinate communication between clients and our internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to client inquiries.
  • Schedule appointments and facilitate communication between clients and internal staff.
  • Coordinate with different departments to ensure timely completion of client tasks.
  • Assign tasks via our management system and update clients on progress.
  • Provide general administrative support.
  • Use translation tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Send periodic updates to clients.
  • Receive and organize client documents for storage and retrieval.
  • Conduct research to ensure accurate terminology.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet project requirements.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English, with seamless translation ability.
  • Strong multitasking skills.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of typing Chinese characters.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience as a translator is advantageous.
  • Typing speed of at least 20 words per minute (WPM).
  • Quick learner.
  • Knowledge of Chinese culture and etiquette is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
