We are the importer and distributor of automotive spare parts.
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Lorry Driver to transport goods safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate should have a valid heavy vehicle driving license, a strong understanding of road safety regulations, and the ability to handle deliveries on time.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensuring safety of goods while transporting
Supervising the loading and unloading of goods
Follow assigned routes and schedules as per company requirements.
Perform regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
Ensure compliance with traffic laws and company safety regulations.
Assist in basic vehicle maintenance and cleanliness.
Communicate effectively with the logistics/dispatch team regarding delivery updates.
Requirements & Qualifications:
Valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License in Sri Lanka.
Minimum 3years of experience as a lorry driver.
Good knowledge of local road networks and traffic regulations.
Ability to work long hours and travel to different locations.
Physically fit to handle loading and unloading if required.
Basic mechanical knowledge is an advantage.
Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.
