Accounting Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our financial team with daily accounting tasks. This role involves managing expense reports, processing reimbursements, recording financial transactions, and reconciling invoices. The ideal candidate is eager to gain hands-on experience in bookkeeping and financial procedures while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions.

Key Responsibilities:
Process and reconcile invoices, expense reports, and reimbursements.
Enter financial transactions into internal databases with accuracy.
Assist in preparing financial reports and maintaining records.
Support accounts payable and receivable functions.
Conduct bank reconciliations and verify account balances.
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation.
Assist with tax filings and compliance-related tasks.
Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed.

Requirements & Qualifications:
G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) in Commerce.
Prior experience in accounting or bookkeeping is a plus but not required.
Familiarity with accounting software .
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good understanding of basic accounting principles.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
