STORES KEEPING

We are searching for an organized and detail-oriented storekeeper to manage all operations in our storeroom. In this position, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the proper care, maintenance, and organization of our stock, including ordering, receiving, and managing inventory. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming stock and supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts.
• Ensure all inventory processes are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Monitor stock levels and initiate orders to replenish supplies when necessary.
• Organize the storeroom to maximize space utilization and ensure easy access to supplies.
• Implement and maintain security measures to safeguard inventory.
• Prepare and maintain records of stock movements, including incoming and outgoing items.
• Collaborate with relevant departments to meet their inventory requirements.
• Handle damaged or defective items following company protocols.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the storeroom environment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar inventory management role.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control practices and procedures.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy items safely.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• O/L Level Maths and English pass; additional certifications in inventory management or logistics are an advantage.
