Compliance Officer

Job Requirements

Education:

• A post-graduate degree from a well-known university with no third division/class in any academic result.
• Preference will be given to candidates with ACCA, CMA, or CA qualifications.

Experience:

• At least 3 years of experience.
• Applicants should have experience in the following business areas:
  • Banks

Additional Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Compliance Unit of the ICC Division of any bank.
• Knowledge of various areas of banking and credit operations.
• Must be computer literate and able to use core banking software independently.
• Good understanding of regulatory issues.
• Ability to multitask and manage workloads effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive audit and inspection reports from the Branches’ Audit and Inspection Unit and Bangladesh Bank.
• Ensure timely compliance with the reports from Bangladesh Bank, as well as internal and external audits, in the bank’s branches, divisions, and outlets.
• Review compliance reports from branches/divisions/outlets and prepare summary sheets showing compliant and non-compliant issues for the Board Audit Committee.
• Communicate with branches/divisions/outlets to follow up and monitor compliance performance.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports to Bangladesh Bank on time.
